Cameron Anderson commits to Quins

The utility back, who is comfortable at fullback or wing, has committed his future to Quins following a successful first season at the Club.

The 24-year-old, who signed from London Scottish in June 2023, has achieved three Gallagher Premiership appearances this season, including the 32-26 win over Gloucester Rugby at Big Game 15. He also featured against Cardiff Rugby in the Investec Champions Cup, starting on the left wing in the 15-54 victory.

Anderson began his senior career with Wasps Academy in 2018, before spending time on loan with Loughborough Students. He also represented Scotland U20 in 2019 and was selected for the U20 Six Nations and World Rugby U20 Championship. He was elevated to the Wasps senior squad in 2021, before joining London Scottish in 2022.

Upon announcing his new contract, Anderson said: “I’ve loved my first season at the Club. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’ve enjoyed learning from some of the best in the business and developing my game alongside some world-class players. I’m excited for another season at Quins, we have a great group of lads, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve."

Director of Rugby Billy Millard commented: “Cam’s contribution this season has been excellent. He has been called upon at different times, performed well and is continuing to grow. We’re delighted that’s he’s staying at Quins and look forward to further improvement next season.”
