Australian rugby on the decline that's for sure . Their super rugby teams are shocking

Bo Sileya Jun 6

It's the consistency of form not game by game form. They beat NZ but lost other matches. The rankings are changing more frequently with other teams like Scotland & Australia because both teams are transitioning & getting more consistent wins & loses respectively

To me they just don't matter because honestly from 3-10 they change so often, you can never really say who is better than who.

Dean Jun 6

Bo so when Ireland beat NZ last year they should have been #1 for that week because their "current form" was better than NZ's

Bo Sileya Jun 6

World rankings also determine a teams current form not just world cup group

Jack Strickland it hurts to lose to dodgy refing eh?

Go on Scotland!

Dean Jun 6

World cup draw is done now so what do they mean now?? So you can tell a rugby supporter from another country that your country is ranked higher than his. And besides the way NZ is playing Rugby it doesn't matter in which group you are, you are going to have to beat them.

Benjamin Russell Jun 6

Can't say they mean nothing. They count for a lot come World Cup draws.

Sky Sports say Scotland move up to fourth, Australia down to 6th I think
