Poor handling from both sides has disintegrated some highly impressive passages of play. But clinical finishing coupled by excellent territorial kicking has been the difference between the sides and Exeter will surely be delighted with three first-half tries. Hunting down that much sought-after fourth try combined with Connacht's hunger to get back into the game has left it all to play for in the second half!

Ronaldson makes no mistake with the boot and the ball sails through the uprights. The gap is now at 6 points.

Connacht are really beginning to gain momentum in the latter minutes of this opening half. Exeter are penalised just inside their own 22' for holding on, giving Ronaldson an attempt on goal.
