Injury for Robbie?

Ultimate Rugby Oct 10

TRY! Chiefs wrap up the bonus point with their fourth try of the game, and it's Ewers, capping off an imposing Chiefs play, with the try. Steenson converts and extends the lead to 26-6.

Both sides re-enter the pitch for the second 40 minutes of play. Jack Carty replaces Henshaw in the centre, with Ronaldson shifting into midfield. No changes to report regarding the Chiefs team.

TRY! Chiefs clinically grab a crucial try on what turned out to be the last play of the half. Great strength from winger Jack Nowell shrugs off Connacht tacklers and makes several metres. The ball is subsequently spread wide to lock Damian Welch who crashes over for the first try of the game. And the referee sounds his whistle bring the opening 40 minutes of play to a close. Poor handling from both sides has disintegrated some highly impressive passages of play. But clinical finishing coupled by excellent territorial kicking has been the difference between the sides and Exeter will surely be delighted with three first-half tries. Hunting down that much sought-after fourth try combined with Connacht's hunger to get back into the game has left it all to play for in the second half!

Ronaldson makes no mistake with the boot and the ball sails through the uprights. The gap is now at 6 points.

Connacht are really beginning to gain momentum in the latter minutes of this opening half. Exeter are penalised just inside their own 22' for holding on, giving Ronaldson an attempt on goal.

Come on Connacht!!!!

Ultimate Rugby Oct 10

Former Chief Aly Muldowney enters the fray, to a loud cheer from both sets of fans, following a suspected concussion to second-row Swift.

Still though. They can be a great second half team. Come on Connacht! Heads in gear now and blow these guys apart!!!

Back to handling errors again?!! So frustrating watching Connacht. Do they hard things well and mess up the basics too often.
