Bernard Foley

Man of the Match Bernard Foley was the stand out player in their historic victory against England. The out-half scored 2 outstanding tries in the first half, slicing open England's defense on demand. Foley didn't place a foot wrong, and scored an amazing 28 points single handed, which breaks down to 2 tries, 3 conversions and 4 attempts at goal. Foley will be a key player for Australia in the knock-out stages of this competition.

Joe Launchbury

Launchbury was England's best player on the field in their disappointing loss to the Wallabies. The lock troubled Australia all over the pitch, performing superbly at the line out. Launchbury worked great in defense, disrupting Australia's kicking in particular, as he charged down 2 of Genia's clearances.

David Pocock
Pocock was in outstanding form in Australia's meeting with England. The no. 8 caused huge problems for England at the breakdown, earning a number of penalties for the Wallabies and turning the ball over on several occasions. England struggled to go forward in attack throughout the fixture and Pocock was the main reason. Every chance that he got, he slowed down England's ball and put them on the back foot. Australia's defense is in safe hands with Pocock performing as he is.
