Alex Corbisiero sidelined for England’s autumn internationals programme by shoulder injury

Stuart Lancaster, the England coach, has been dealt a serious injury blow
after Alex Corbisiero was ruled out of the QBE autumn internationals with a
shoulder injury.



The prop’s club, Northampton Saints, said that the 26-year-old will be
sidelined “until early 2015” because of a ligament tear.



He has had a recent history of serious knee trouble, and this latest setback
will come as a major blow to Lancaster with the World Cup less than a year
away as well as the reigning Aviva Premiership champions.
