All Blacks, Chiefs eye Argentina enforcer

The Chiefs forwards in the All Blacks are eyeing up a short-term former teammate who they'll face against Argentina in Napier this weekend.

Lock Tomas Lavanini was part of the Chiefs academy this season and at 2m and 120kg was picked for the Pumas last week when veteran Patricio Albacete was injured The Chiefs have identified the 20-year-old Lavanini as a lock to help make up for the absence of skipper Craig Clarke, who has left for a contract in Ireland.
