Andrei Ostrikov signs new 2-year deal at Sale Sharks

Sale Sharks have announced that Lock Andrei Ostrikov has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, “When I first saw Andrei play, I spotted his massive potential. He was one of my first signings and he is a player who gives everything both on and off the field. He plays hard, trains hard and never takes a backward step. He is well respected by the whole squad and its great to get his signature on a new contract.”

Andrei previously played for Agen and Aurillac. He was a member of the Russian side the played in the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.

In total, he has played 26 times for Russia and has also racked up over 100 appearances playing for Sale Sharks.
