Ballynahinch start defence of title in the right way

– 01 September 2014The heavy rain and wind limited the amount of open play but Hinch, by virtue of their two tries, probably deserved their success.

It was former Ballymena player Roger McBurney who started the move for the first try and scored it.

If anything the wind later strengthened and Hinch launched kick after kick at their opponents but their new full-back Sean Taylor was sure under the ball.

The former Preston Grasshopper certainly kept his team in the game right to the end.
