Basil Strang joins London Scottish

London Scottish have added further depth to their squad for the upcoming season after completing the signing of fly-half Basil Strang.



The 24-year-old has plenty of experience after previously representing Oxford University in Varsity matches at Twickenham, Worcester Warriors in the A League, Henley Hawks in National league One and last season for Chinnor.




Strang, who is Scottish qualified can play at fly-half or centre, standing at 6 ft 5” and weighing 110 kgs which adds considerable strength to the back-line.



The versatile back is looking forward to heading to the Athletic Ground:
 
"I am really pleased to have signed my first professional contract with London Scottish. Having spent the last three years combining studying for a PGCE and at Oxford University with teaching at Kingham Hill School, I have been lucky enough to be involved a couple of Varsity matches at Twickenham.

He added: "After spending some time with the club and Dave Morris it is an exciting time to be joining London Scottish. I am excited to pull on the shirt for the first time and meeting the supporters.”
