Bulls Release Flip van der Merwe
The Blue Bulls have released Springbok Lock, Flip van der Merwe, from his contract allowing him to join French side Clermont earlier than expected.
The big lock was set to join his new team at the completion of the World Cup but having failed to make the Springbok team to play in the tournament he was released and will join up with his new team shortly.
Flip van der Merwe has represented the Springboks over 35 times and played well over 70 Super Rugby games
