This was no exception, a Guinness PRO12 game with everything: niggle, grit and aggression culminating in a red card for Tyrone Holmes, the Glasgow flanker.
Then the Warriors staged a spirited fightback and rugby of a quality to leave the man in charge of the Dragons in awe of what he was witnessing as the Scottish side clinched a scoring bonus point with three tries when down to 14 men.
