The latest man to fill the Wallabies number two jersey, Reds hooker James Hanson hoped to avoid joining the injury curse.
Stephen Moore, Tatafu Polota-Nau and now Nathan Charles have all been sidelined, giving Hanson the chance he's grateful for.
