The Eagles got off to a flying start, scoring two early tries and finding themselves leading by 12-0 after just 16 minutes of play. The lead proved to be too big an ask for Canada who were completely outclassed form start to finish and found themselves unable to cope with the pace and power of this USA outfit. They will be bitterly disappointed to have been so comprehensively defeated by their closest rivals, especially in such an important fixture. USA on the other hand will be delighted to have secured their place in the RWC 2019 on the back of a remarkable performance.
