Ireland v England 2003, the day Martin Johnson refused to move
After both sides had won their opening four games they faced off against each other at Lansdowne Road with both sides looking to secure the Grand Slam. Before the game had even started it was marred by controversy. England captain Martin Johnson brought his side out onto the wrong side of the red carpet and refused to move. Whether he was trying to get into the heads of the Irish players is unknown, but what is certain is that he left with a Grand Slam with England hammering Ireland 42-6. When England make their way out onto the field on Sunday, will we be seeing Chris Robshaw doing something similar with his players?
