It's no surprise an English side hasn't won elite European competition since 2007 - the French are too good
The wait goes on.
An English side has still not won the elite European competition since 2007.
But it is no surprise.
And that is not gloating in any way because I may have had some involvement in the Wasps side that did win in 2007.
I never thought an English side would win this season.
The French sides are just so much better at the moment.
They are better organised than they have been in the past and have definitely benefited from the influx of players from Britain and Ireland, as well as further afield of course.
