Jaco Kriel sidelined for up to 6 months

Springbok and Lions flanker Jaco Kriel sustained a severe shoulder injury in the Rugby Championship test against Australia in Perth on 9 September.

As a result, he will undergo an operation today (Tuesday) and is expected to return to play in six months.

No replacement has been called into to the squad to replace Kriel but Bath flanker Francois Louw has been placed on standby for Springboks.
