Mitre10 Highlights: Hawkes Bay v Counties Manukau (Round 3)

Counties Manukau ran out emphatic 48-20 winners over Hawke's Bay in round 3 of the Mitre 10 Cup. Counties ran in three first half tries to one to take a 22-13 lead into the break. Four successful penalties by Counties extended their lead to 34-13 before Hawke's Bay crossed for their second try to get back into the match at 34-20. However it was Counties who finished the stronger of the two sides, adding two more tries in the final ten minutes to close out the bonus point victory.
