Leinster and Ulster will go to battle on Friday night in their Pro12 semi-final play-off, while Connacht will face off with Glasgow Warriors again the following evening.

Connacht edged past Glasgow Warriors 14-7 at a rain-soaked Sportsground and will hope for a repeat performance when the Scottish side return for a Saturday evening showdown.

The final will take place on Saturday 28 May at Murrayfield (5.30pm).

Champions Cup results

While the title play-off quartet are confirmed - Saracens, Exeter, Wasps and Leicester - heading into the final round of regular season Premiership action, Northampton, Harlequins and Sale Sharks are all scrambling for Champions Cup spots.

The three clubs are separated by just two points, although Quins have another Champions Cup route if they win next Friday's European Challenge Cup final against Montpellier in Lyon.

Hurricanes beaten by the Sharks

The Hurricanes had put in one of the performances of the tournament in their previous game to stun the Lions 50-17 in Johannesburg but they never came close to reaching those heights yesterday.

Wing JP Pietersen scored tries either side of halftime to propel South Africa's Sharks to a 32-15 victory over the Hurricanes in their Super Rugby clash at King's Park in Durban.
