Scotland 7's the Champions of Twickenham:
The Scottish 7's side scored an unlikely but sensational win after the hooter against the Blitzbokke to make history and win their first World Series event ever. Dougie Fife scored 2 tries in the last 2 minutes to give his side a 26-27 win
Western Force lose their skipper:
Matt Hodgson is likely to miss the rest of the season after dislocating his arm on Saturday against the Blues. The injury happened late in the game where the Force lost by 4 points to the Auckland franchise
Pro 12 & Premiership finalists known:
Bothe tournaments had their semi finals this weekend with all 4 home sides earning themselves a spot in the final. This weekend will see Leinster Rugby take on Connacht in the Pro 12 Final while Twickenham will host Saracens vs Exter Chiefs in the Premiership Final.
Surprises in the England squad for Australia:
Eddie Jones has named his squad to take on Wales and Australia with 2 noticeable talking points. One being the exclusion of Saracens winger Chris Ashton and the other being the inclusion of Leinster Rugby (soon to be of Worcester Warriors) Ben Te'o.
Jamie Cudmore about to hang up his boots:
Canadian rugby legend and Clermont Auvergne hard man, Jamie Cudmore, played his last home game for Clermont at the age of 37. Cudmore has been playing at the Auvergne club since 2005 and the hard man, known as 'Cuddles' has racked up over 21 yellow cards and 3 reds cards in that time.
Colins Injera becomes the leading 7's try scorer:
Injera scored his first, 200th and now his 231st and record breaking try at Twickenham. The 7's legend scored the record breaking try in the dying seconds of the game against France in the pool stages. He went on to score 3 more in the Tournament.
