Bleeding the youth through in the post BOD era has also been successful yet some of the more senior players have even stepped up their game. Paul O'Connell is ageing like a fine wine and has found new energy and resurgence in his game. The Man of the Match against the Wallabies was diligent in defence and aggressive in attack.
With 2 minutes to go and the Wallabies piling on the pressure, O'Connell made a huge hit on McMalman to send him back tracking and hault the aussie attack.
