After spending February and March watching Scotland collect the wooden spoon,
the Princess Royal picked a good afternoon to dip her toe back into rugby.


It was an occasion fit for royalty at stadiummk and a rip-roaring contest
ended with Northampton Saints tightening their grip on the Aviva Premiership
crown.



A victory over London Welsh on May 9 will secure a home semi-final and the
message that Saturday’s defiant performance sent out to the rest of the
