Our XV of the weekend

Our XV of the weekend

Here is our XV of the weekend!

1. Paddy Ryan

Solid outing in the NRC earning him a rare 5 pointer but more importantly his side finished the season top of the table by just a point over rivals Sydney Rays.

2. Dave Heffernan

Unsung hero for Connacht but impressed us, breaking the line going forward and done well at the set piece.

3. Kyle Sinckler

Sinckler celebrated a new contract with Quins with a mammoth performance in their impressive win against Northampton.

4. Maro Itoje

Played an integral role in Saracens win over rivals Wasps. Physicality was superb around the pitch.

5. Brodie Rettalick

MOTM in the All Blacks superb win over the Springboks. Unbelievable work rate around the pitch and dominant at set piece.

6. James King

Great performance in the Ospreys win over Cardiff; King covered every blade of grass and was rightly awarded MOTM.

7. Jordi Murphy

Big performance in the back row for Leinster in a bruising encounter against Munster.

8. Billy Vunipola

Dominant going forward, Vunipola claimed the MOTM award in an impressive performance against Wasps. Defensively sound as well with his physicality being a huge issue for Wasps.

9. Kahn Fotuali'i

Settling in well to life at Bath, controlled the game well on Friday night and even grabbed a try for himself.

10. Beauden Barrett

Has had a stellar campaign and finished off the Rugby Championship with a skilful performance at 10. Not the best kicking off the tee, but going forward he was in top form.

11. Israel Dagg

Since his All Blacks re call he has done superb and had another fine performance on Saturday, bagging 2 tries.

12. Anton Liniert-Brown

The youngster looks comfortable in the All Black jersey, following on from his performance last week if he keeps up this consistency he can nail a spot in the team. Played 13 but had to squeeze him in.

13. Samu Kerevi

Very good in Australia's win over Argentina bagging himself 2 tries. Looks a real talent for the future.

14. Cian Kelleher

A standout player in Connacht's win over Ulster as he grabbed 2 excellently finished tries.

15. Ben Smith

Another outstanding game from the full back as he was a constant threat going forward, with his link up play standing out.
