Was quiet today in a hit and miss Lions scrum.

2. Rory Best - 6/10
 
Best was solid at the line out and tackled well, bar a crucial missed tackle leading to a Callum Gibbins try.
 
3. Dan Cole - 7/10
 
 
Performed well in over the 80 minutes including an important turnover and 13 tackles.
 
4. Iain Henderson - 8/10
 
Henderson was a standout performer today, carrying 13 times and nabbing a try assist for George North's try. Work rate was outstanding and made 48 metres. Would've scored a 9 if it wasn't for a reckless yellow card. Huge claim to be in the 23 for Saturday's 2nd test.
 
5. Courtney Lawes - 8/10
 
 
Lawes came off after 53 minutes and was performing brilliantly before he got taken off, indicating that he may feature on Saturday. Made 10 carries during his stint and was aggressive in his all round play.
 
6. James Haskell - 6/10
 
A quiet day at the office in the 1st half for Haskell but tackled well making 14 tackles missing none. Got involved in the 2nd half making 10 carries.
 
7. Justin Tipuric - 7/10
 
The Welsh back-row racked up 20 tackles today and his work rate was top drawer. An outside punt for a test spot.
 
8. CJ Stander - 6/10
 
Stander was his usual self today but in the 1st half didn't carry as well as normal. Was out on his feet in the second half after a good effort. Unlikely to force his way into the 23.
 
9. Greig Laidlaw - 7/10
 
 
Laidlaw had his game of the tour, his distribution was improved from previous games and claimed a try assist after a great intercept to setup Seymour.
 
10. Dan Biggar - 7/10
 
Controlled the game well at 10 and went about his business today. Bit weak in the tackle against Laumape which led to a try but overall was good.
 
11. George North - 6/10
 
Found himself on the score sheet after good support play but the early shift into 12 didn't suit the winger. Unlikely to feature in Saturday's 23.
 
12. Robbie Henshaw - N/A
 
Forced off early with a shoulder injury which looks to have ended his tour.
 
13. Jonathan Joseph - 6/10
 
Never saw the best out of Joseph today, showed some good feet to make a break but that was about it. Caught out positionally a few times as the Canes went wide.
 
14. Tommy Seymour - 8/10
 
 
Top try scorer on the tour now with 3 tries overall and 2 today. Good support line for the 1st try and finished the second well in the corner, made some decent yards going forward.
 
15. Jack Nowell - 7/10
 
Looked dangerous at times when he had the ball showing great speed and balance to make breaks. Could sneak onto the bench for Saturday.
