Proper giant stirs in this lopsided league

The new Aviva Premiership has barely started and there have already been three
heavy scorelines to nil, the latest thrashing was inflicted by Bath on
Leicester at the Rec on Saturday.

When a side fail to score and are on the
receiving end of 30-plus points, it clearly demonstrates a seriously
one-sided fixture, so too many nils represents a lopsided league.



In the whole of last season, there were only three scorelines to nil (two
against Newcastle Falcons); this season we have had that many in only three
weeks.



You could argue that the lopsidedness will be even more exaggerated
