Exeter Chiefs 50-12 Worcester Warriors

The Exeter Chiefs took on in form Worcester Warriors this afternoon at Sandy Park. Exeter started the brighter of the two sides trying to play an expansive high tempo style of rugby, the hosts took the lead early on in the 18th minute through Waldrom who went on to score a hat trick. 

Exeter scored two more in quick succession to give them a 17-0 lead over the visitors. But against the run of play the Warriors came roaring back into the game with two tries of their own just before the break to give Exeter a halftime lead of 17 points to 12. But Exeter showed their class in the second half scoring and unanswered 33 points.The bonus point was sealed in the 41st minute.

Despite defeat Worcester secured their place in next seasons Aviva Premiership.

Harlequins 46-25 Newcastle Falcons

A highly dominant performance from the home side who emerged as deserved victors.

A superb team performance despite moments of individual brilliance from Visser and the consistency of Botica with the boot. Falcons looked dead and buried after the first half, but a spirited fightback from the visitors in the second half gave Quins quite a scare. 

In the end, the Robinson yellow card proved crucial, allowing Quins to secure 14 of their 46 points.

Falcons sit in 11th only 4 points above London Irish.

London Irish 15-30 Sale Sharks

London Irish sit bottom of the Aviva Premiership, failing to hold onto a first half lead today at the Madejski.

Sale's key man Danny Cipriani ran the show at 10, scoring 20 points and scoring his 2nd try in as many weeks.

Time running out for Irish, who now have 3 games to try stay in the division.

Leicester Tigers 35-30 Gloucester

Leicester overcame a 14 point deficit at halftime against Gloucester to move into the top 4 at Welford Road.

An incredible exhibition of rugby, with plenty of running rugby from both sides resulting in some cracking tries.

In the second half  a much changed Tigers side took control and showed no hesitation to throw the ball around and with a superb defensive effort at the death they clinched a vital bonus point victory.


PRO 12

Scarlets 22-28 Cardiff Blues

Cardiff hung on for victory in Llanelli and secured a long awaited double over their Welsh rivals.

A dominant display from the visitors this afternoon earned a well deserved victory.

Tries from Williams and James combined with a strong defensive display forced Scarlets to chase the game from the get go.

Scarlets secure a losing BP but miss a great opportunity to catch up with Connacht.

Treviso 16-38 Glasgow

Despite trailing 16-14 at half time, Glasgow defeated a spirited Treviso side in Italy.

The reigning champions scored 6 tries as they romped to victory in the 2nd half, with Gray, Horne, Favaro, Hogg, Hart and Malcolm all going over.

Glasgow now move into the top at the expense of Munster and keep their good form going. 

Leinster 16-13 Munster

Leinster came away with a very hard fought win against Munster at the Aviva Stadium to move top of the PRO 12.

The first half was quiet but a try from Jonathan Sexton saw the home side take a 10-6 lead into the break. 

Munster looked to have bounced back with a try of their own through Johnny Holland but Sexton held his cool to kick his side to victory.

A late moment of madness saw Kilcoyne tap a penalty quickly, turning down the chance to draw the game. Off the next phase Munster lost the ball forward to hand Leinster the win.

Munster now drop out of the top 4 while Leinster sit top of table.
