Blue Bulls flank and captain Deon Stegmann was suspended for one week, for striking a player with his elbow in their Currie Cup clash against the Eastern Province Kings last Friday.
His Blue Bulls counterpart, hooker Bongi Mbonambi, meanwhile, was cleared of further sanction - after receiving a yellow card in the match for charging into a ruck without using his arms.
