Experienced Stormers and Springbok flank Schalk Burger will be rested from this weekend's Super Rugby match against the Cheetahs.
Burger has been a star performer for the Stormers since returning from Japan in early March.
However, he will have this week off as part of the franchises agreement with the South African Rugby Union - to keep key Springboks 'fresh' for the World Cup.
The Stormers will host the Cheetahs at Newlands on Saturday, having lost by 17-25 in Bloemfontein the last time these two sides met on May 2.
