In the Premiership, Bath suffered their 9th defeat of the season after their 26-17 loss against Exeter Chiefs.

Exeter opened the scoring through Gareth Steenson's reliable kicking at goal. The Chiefs showed their threat on the counter attack when Short broke from inside their 22 and set up Ian Whitten for the try. At half time, the Chiefs led 16-7, with Mafi's try giving Bath a lifeline.

Bath continued their comeback after the interval, with Mafi scoring again in a similar fashion 2 minutes into the half. Max Lahiff's sending off gave Exeter a chance to compose themselves and rebuild their attack. In the dying minutes of the fixture, Kai Horstmann powered over for the try to deny Bath any chance of victory.

Elsewhere in the Premiership, Leicester Tigers cruised to a 47-20 victory against London Irish, putting the hosts back into the top 4 of the Premiership. 

Leicester asserted their dominance early on in the fixture, securing their bonus point try within the first half, scoring through Thompstone, Thacker, McCaffrey and Kitto. 

After the break, Leicester continued their try frenzy with Tom Croft going over. Irish finally began to come to life, with Paice scoring their first try in the 58th minute. With the victory secured for the hosts, the late tries scored by Trayfoot and Fenby were simply a consolation for London Irish. 

MOTM - Freddie Burns

In the third and final fixture in the Premiership, Wasps secured a convincing 42-10 victory against Harlequins. 

Wasps jumped to a 14-0 lead in the opening half hour, thanks to tries by Cooper-Woodley and Wade, with Harlequins failing to register any points until Luke Wallace's try in the 32nd minute. However, Wasps responded quickly to this score with another try of their own through Nathan Hughes, bringing the score to 21-5 at half time. 

Wasps managed to seal the bonus point try at the 60 minute mark, with Thomas Young dotting over to score. The hosts went on to add 2 further tries to their tally, with Macken going over in the last play of the game. 

MOTM - Jake Cooper-Woodley

In the Pro 12, Munster just about held on to earn a 13-16 win against bottom of the table Benetton Treviso. 

Munster opened the scoring through Gerhard Van Den Heever. However, Treviso responded with Robert Barbieri's try. Jayden Hayward's conversion was all that separated the sides at half time. 

In the second half, it was Francis Saili's try that secured the victory for Munster, with both outhalves slotting their 2 attempts at goal. Despite some late drama, with Dave Kilcoyne being sent off, Treviso were unable to snatch a much needed win., 

At Murrayfield, Edinburgh managed to come from behind to seal a 24-23 victory against Scarlets. 

In the first half, Scarlets looked to be in charge, scoring tries through Parkes, Davies and Evans, to give the visitors a 13-23 lead at the interval. 

After the break, Edinburgh began to stage their comeback with Kinghorn slotting two penalties. Toolis managed to barrel over the line from short range in the 69th minute to give the hosts a 24-23 lead. Scarlets failed to score any points in the second half. 

MOTM - James Davies

Cardiff Blues staged a late comeback to secure a 23-13 win against Ulster at the Cardiff Arms Park. 

Ulster appeared to be in control of the fixture, with the Irish province holding a 6-13 lead early in the second half thanks to Craig Gilroy's try. However, Ulster failed to score again in the fixture and gave Cardiff every chance to steal the victory. 

In the final 10 minutes, Cardiff scored tries through Patchell and Summerhill to snatch a much needed victory. 

MOTM - Reynold Lee Lo

Finally in the Pro 12, Leinster extended their winning streak to 3 after today's 10-27 victory against Zebre. 

Leinster opened the scoring with a well worked try by Luke McGrath, and quickly doubled their lead after Dominic Ryan scored under the posts. Zebre's only points of the half came through McKinley's attempt at goal, with a 3-12 score at half time. 

After the interval, Adam Byrne scored a superb try, getting on the end of Cathal Marsh's cross-field kick. Zebre did manage to score a try of their own, with Federico Ruzza crashing over from short range. Despite dominating the fixture, Leinster only managed to secure the bonus point try in the dying moments of the second half, with Dan Leavy touching down from a well worked maul.
