Super League Crowds Fall By 5%

An analysis of attendances at the 182 Super League games played outside of the Magic Weekend during the 2014 regular season shows that there was a fall of five per cent overall. The one-off weekend of fixtures held at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester over 17 and 18 May set a record for the highest attendance since the event was first staged back in 2007 (64,552 in total across the two days) but crowds elsewhere have suffered.
