Castres ran out 33-22 home winners over Lyon in round 18 of the French Top 14. Both sides scored a single first half try, but Castres kept the scoreboard ticking over with three penalties for a 16-7 lead at the break. Lyon crossed for the next two tries to hit the front 19-16 with just under a quarter of the match to play. A Castres penalty soon followed to level the scores. Castres were in again with another try before Lyon closed the gap to 26-22 with a penalty, but the home side would wrap up the victory with a late score.
