Armitage ruled out of Final: Delon Armitage will miss Toulon's clash with Clermont Auvergne in the European Final after fracturing his hand. The full back sustained the injury during Toulon's win over Leinster and played the game with the injury. Armitage went for tests on Monday which shows he fractured his hand and will be out for 4-5 weeks, meaning he will miss the final in 2 weeks.
Toulon chase O'Connell: Paul O'Connell is being identified as Toulon's newest galatico. Club President, Mourad Boudjellal is thought to be putting forward a 2 year contract to try tempt the 101-times capped Irish lock. Pau and Grenoble have also expressed an interest in his services but according to sources in France, Toulon are well placed above those sides. O'Connell has not spoken to any of these clubs and has touted retirement at ththe end of the World Cup, making any move unlikely at the moment.
