Vote for your #URTOTY Back Row

Today we take a look at the nominees to be voted into the Ultimate Rugby Team of the Year Back row!

Blind side flanker

CJ Stander

The Munster man has been an inspiration for Ireland this year, showing passion & leadership in every game he's played it was hard to look by the Saffer. An energy sapping performance against the All Blacks in Chicago Field probably Stander's best outing this year.

Jerome Kaino

The 33 year old shows no signs of slowing down after another impressive years with the All Blacks. Unlucky to miss out on some of the November games through injury, Messam still made his mark on the year with an impressive Rugby Championship & 3-0 win over Wales in the Summer Internationals.

Chris Robshaw

Chris Robshaw is a rejuvenated character under Eddie Jones at 6. The former England captain was a scapegoat after England's poor RWC2015 showing but has showed his quality in an unbeaten England team in 2016.

Open side flanker

James Haskell

A love to hate player for many rugby fans but Haskell's performances in the first half of the year for England haven't gone unnoticed. Haskell was named player of the series in England's 3-0 whitewash of the Wallabies this summer. Not to forget he's not a bad pundit either!

Sam Cane

With the boots to fill of Richie McCaw, Sam Cane hasn't looked back since fighting off Ardie Savea for the famous 7 shirt.

Michael Hooper

One half of the famous 'Pooper' combination, Hooper has continued to be a nuisance for teams this year constantly slowing down the break down and averaging 11.4 tackles a game for the Wallabies this year.

No.8

Billy Vunipola

Nominated for the team along with his brother Mako, Billy has been an absolute wrecking ball for England & Saracens this year. A Champions Cup title & an unbeaten international year, it doesn't get much better does it?

Jamie Heaslip

World Rugby Try of the Year winner Heaslip has refound some of his best form this season and has looked rejuvenated in the green shirt.

Facundo Isa

Many would consider Isa an outsider nominee for the Team of the Year but the young argentine has been superb this year and is defintely one to watch for the future!
