Despite the loss the Brumbies can take a lot from the match including a bonus point after an impressive performance.

 Head Coach Stephen Larkham said while the result was disappointing, the effort was good.

“Coming to New Zealand to face the Chiefs is never easy and I feel like our boys put in a big effort tonight,” Larkham said.
