As the Lions arrive in Waikato to take on the Gallagher Chiefs, head coach Warren Gatland will be basking in glory of his side's victory over the tourists with Waikato in 1993.
The British & Irish Lions were brushed aside 38-10 by the Hamilton outfit at Rugby Park. Gatland managed to cross the white wash for a crucial score, en route to securing victory.
The Waikato stalwart found himself with some space on the wing after a nice move down the touchline, crossing the whitewash for a five pointer.
With the All Blacks looming on Saturday, both Gatland and his squad insist the group is not about to split in half and a victory against the Chiefs would go a long way to ensuring this remains the case.
