Yaw Osei Penxe, born on 3 April 1997 in Queenstown, South Africa, is a talented winger in rugby. He attended Queen's College and represented Boland in two Craven Week competitions. Additionally, Penxe participated in athletics during his school years, competing in events such as the 4 × 100 meters relay and the triple jump at high school and provincial levels.

After completing his schooling, Penxe joined The Eastern Province Kings Academy in Port Elizabeth. He made his debut for the EP Kings in the 2016 Currie Cup qualification series and demonstrated great potential while playing for the under 19 squad.

In anticipation of the 2017 season, Penxe signed a senior contract with the Southern Kings, where he continued to showcase his talent at a higher level. In 2020, he transferred to the Sharks, embarking on a new chapter in his rugby career.

In June 2021, Penxe's skills and contributions were recognized when he was named in South Africa's 46-man squad for the British and Irish Lions Tour, further highlighting his growing reputation in the sport.
