Josh Lewsey

30th Nov 1976 1.80m/85kg Right Wing

Josh Lewsey made the ideal start to life on his first Lions Tour in 2005 scoring two tries on his debut against Bay of Plenty.

The full-back/winger went on to make six appearances in a Lions jersey and started all three Test matches against the All Blacks.

Lewsey, who won 55 caps for England during his career, was widely regarded as one of the standout players during the 2005 Tour despite the series defeat.

The 2003 World Cup winner continued to have a stellar career at international level but injury ruled him out of the 2007 World Cup final and he retired from international rugby a year later.
