Steve Crosbie

10th Feb 1993 1.85m/92kg Fly Half

Crosbie was born in Cork but attended St Gerard's school in Wicklow, captaining their Senior Cup side. The Old Belvedere player can play either fly half or centre and was a member of the Leinster Academy.

He has also represented Ireland at Schools and U18, U19 & U20 level. In September 2014, Crosbie was named in the Leinster squad for the first time, going on to make two appearances for the province. Crosbie then left the Leinster Academy and went to NZ on a semi-pro contract where he played 6 Heartland Championship matches in NZ with eventual winners, Wanganui.

Having joined Munster on a 3-month development contract in September 2016, Crosbie was lined up by Connacht in January 2017 in an effort to ease the side's out-half concerns. Crosbie made his first start for Connacht against Zebre in the Pro 12.

In May 2017, having featured in three PRO12 games for Connacht this year, Steve signed a new contract with Connacht for the 2017/18 season.

He made 6 appearances during the 2017/18 season and was released from the club at the end of the season.
