
Physical, hard-hitting back-rower who joined the Force in the off-season for his first crack at Super Rugby after three years in France with Castres. During his time in France, he played in a Top 14 final in front of 80,000 fans at the Stade de France. Prior to that, Canberra-born Champion de Crespigny played for NSW Shute Shield outfit Sydney University (2015-2021), winning two titles. Champion de Crespigny dabbles in rowing outside of rugby and speaks a little bit of French.
He made his Australian debut against the British and Irish Lions in 2025
