Racing 92 fullback Simon Zebo has shed light on mercurial fly-half Finn Russell’s nickname at the club.
Russell, who was in fine form yesterday as Racing sank Saracens 19-15, is affectionately known as “white chocolate.”
“I call him “white chocolate” because it reminds me of a former NBA player, Jason Williams (Miami Heat), whom American fans called that,” Zebo said in an interview with Midi Olympique.

“Williams looks like Finn: on the pitch, he had incredible individual technique and made crazy moves, blind passes, between the legs… And like Finn, “White Chocolate” always played with a smile.”
Zebo and Russell have become good friends off the pitch while forming a lethal combination on it. Racing are set to travel to Sandy Park on 17 October to tackle Exeter Chiefs in the Champions Cup final. Racing will be hoping that Russell will be able to replicate his display in the semis as the French outfit hunt this season’s trophy.
Exeter will be a tough nut to crack, however, the English side showing dominance in all competitions in which they are involved, but Racing showed yesterday that they are not a team to be trifled with and the final should be a ferociously competitive one.
