Trevor Woodman signs new deal to remain at Gloucester

Trevor Woodman has signed a new deal with Gloucester which will keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.

Woodman first joined Gloucester in 2014, overseeing forward play with some special emphasis on the scrum. He has been involved in the club’s ladder from the academy up to the first XV.

Woodman played for Gloucester between 1996 and 2004, having also won 22 caps for England, and is thus familiar with the club’s ethos and traditions.

New Gloucester head coach George Skivington is pleased with the development:

“Trevor has a huge amount of experience in the game, both as a player and a coach,” he said.

“He’s been doing a tremendous job aiding the development of the Academy forwards over the last couple of years, but also working closely with the first team too.

“Trevor’s an outstanding coach and his expertise will be a crucial part of the coaching set-up to drive this club forward.”
