Noah Heward is a versatile back-three player who joined Bristol Bears on a two-year deal in October 2022. Hailing from Redditch, Heward's rugby journey began at the age of five with Birmingham & Solihull, where he enjoyed success and led them to multiple North Midlands Cup victories from 2015 to 2018.

Heward's skills and potential as a back were evident early on, leading him to represent England at the U18 and U20 levels. His rugby prowess and versatility caught the attention of Worcester Warriors, and he made his senior debut for the club in a memorable fashion. In December 2019, Heward scored a long-range try in his first-team debut against Newport and Gwent Dragons in the European Challenge Cup. He continued to make an impact by adding three more tries while playing on the wing during the 2019/20 campaign.

Unfortunately, Heward's progress was hampered by a torn hamstring that sidelined him for most of the 2020/21 season. However, he recovered in time to make two appearances towards the end of the campaign, demonstrating his resilience and determination.

Having spent two years in the Worcester Warriors Senior Academy, Heward signed his first full contract in February 2021, earning his place in the senior squad for the 2021/22 season. With his ability to play both on the wing and at full-back, Heward brings versatility to the Bristol Bears' backline.

Beyond rugby, Heward has a deep appreciation for art and cites Picasso as his favorite artist. He enjoys reading and lists "Game of Thrones" as his favorite TV show. Heward's non-rugby idol is Alan Shearer, the legendary footballer from Newcastle United. Throughout his rugby journey, he credits his club coaches Rod Petty and Ken Elleman for their guidance and support in developing his understanding of the game.

Joining Bristol Bears presents a new chapter in Heward's career, where he will have the opportunity to further showcase his skills and contribute to the team's success. With his versatility, determination, and family ties to the sport, Heward has the potential to make a significant impact at Bristol Bears.
