England have won just one of their last five Test matches at home (D1 L3) after winning eight in a row previously; they are winless in their last two Tests at Twickenham (D1 L1) but haven’t gone three in a row without victory there since November 2008.

Scotland have won their opening fixture in four of the last six Guinness Six Nations campaigns, including their last two in a row – both against England – this after winning just one of their previous 17 such matches.

Scotland have won five of their last seven away matches in the Guinness Six Nations (L2), as many as they’d won in their previous 43 such fixtures; they did lose their last away game however and will be aiming to avoid back-to-back defeats on the road in the Championship for the first time since losing five in a row between 2016 and 2018.
