B&I Lions' top stats performers: tackles, carries & more

The British & Irish Lions lay down a marker in their opening tour game with a 56-14 demolishing of the Sigma Lions in Johannesburg. 

Warren Gatland’s charges displayed skill and fitness to brush their opponents aside, showing that they will be tough competitors throughout the rest of their stay in South Africa. There were some brilliant individual efforts on display – one of the most notable was Josh Adams running in four tries – to whet the appetites of the Lions fans. Hamish Watson also deserves special mention after the Scotland international scooped the man-of-the-match award with a very energetic performance which is reflected below.
