Saracens maintained their unbeaten start to the season as they ground out a 26-14 away win over the Cardiff Blues in round 4 of the European Champions Cup. Saracens opened the scoring with an early try and added a penalty for a 10-0 lead. The Blues hit back with their first try, but Saracens added another penalty to lead 13-7. The Blues would have the final say of the half, with their second try giving them a slender 14-13 lead at the break. Saracens struck first in the second half with a penalty edging them in front 16-14 heading into the final quarter. Saracens kicked another penalty inside the final ten minutes to extend their lead to five points before delivering the killer blow with their second try with just four minutes to play sealing the victory.
