Worcester Warriors' Cornell du Preez is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a throat injury during their 21-20 loss to Wasps on Saturday.

The Scotland international sustained a worrying blow to his throat after running into a tackle in Worcester Warriors’ 21-20 defeat to Wasps at Sixways on Saturday.
UPDATE: Cornell du Preez is stable and resting in hospital. Further surgery will be required to his larynx. The Club is providing full support for Cornell and his family and wishes him a speedy recovery.
