Stuart McInally - The captain led by example in all areas of the game and was unlucky to not be selected as the Man of the Match for his efforts. McInally performed his core duties to a very high standard and was very impressive in defence, chipping in with 13 tackles. Due to the current injury problems at hooker for the national side, McInally will start for Scotland in the Six Nations opener and will look to take ownership of the No. 2 shirt during the tournament.

WP Nel - Anchored the dominant Edinburgh scrum that won all 11 of their scrum feeds on possession. Nel was the cornerstone of their set piece where he came out on top of his battle with Georgian prop Gregory Fichten. His work rate was top class and his ball handing around the field was excellent, also throwing a pass through in his legs in his own 22 to round off a Man of the Match display. The Scotland tight head was everywhere in defence, making 13 tackles for his side.
