The youth of the French team impressed today but winger Penaud stood out, especially in the first half. Solid in defence and a stellar first half, making 67 metres and beating 7 defenders.

Los Pumas fight back

Although disappointed to lose this massive crunch clash in the pool, Argentina can take positives out of the game. 17 points down at half time, it was a great effort to reduce the deficit and only coming a wide penalty from victory.

A positive second half, however Argentina now have all eyes on October 5th in Tokyo with a huge game against England. Barring any shocks, Argentina's World Cup could be over with defeat against pool favourites England.
