Gloucester Rugby team news for Bristol clash

Gloucester Rugby host fellow West Country side, Bristol Bears, at Kingsholm tomorrow evening, and the Cherry & Whites side for the huge Gallagher PREM encounter has been revealed.

Afo Fasogbon returns to the starting XV, joining Ciaran Knight and Seb Blake in the front row, with Freddie Thomas and Matias Alemanno packing down behind them.

Hugh Bokenham comes into the side at number 8, with Josh Basham and James Venter starting on the flanks.

Club Captain, Tomos Williams, misses the fixture as he completes his return to play protocols, so he's replaced by Caolan Englefield, who partners Ross Byrne at half-back.

The centre partnership consists of Max Llewellyn and Will Joseph, with Llewellyn replacing Seb Atkinson, who sustained a knee and hip injury during last week’s fixture against Bath Rugby.

Ollie Thorley, Ben Loader and Charlie Atkinson complete the starting team.

Kirill Gotovtsev and Mikey Austin come into the matchday squad, with the latter set for a PREM debut.

They're joined on the bench by Jack Innard, Archie McArthur, Cam Jordan, Jack Mann, Harry Taylor and Josiah Edwards-Giraud.
