Goosen's miss denies Racing a win

Racing-Métro replacement fly-half Johan Goosen missed a last-minute penalty to allow Jake White's Montpellier to snatch a 24-all draw in their Top 14 clash in Paris on Saturday.


Goosen, who is a contender for a place in Heyneke Meyer's World Cup squad, as he offers the versatility of being able to play at both 10 and full-back, replaced Ireland fly-half Jonathan Sexton on the hour mark and could have won the game for the Parisians, but sent his penalty effort from 42m out wide of the posts.
