Highlights: Golden Lions vs Blue Bulls

The Golden Lions edged the Blue Bulls 36-33 in round 10 of the Currie Cup. The Bulls led 14-7, but the Lions finished the first half strongly with three tries in the final 15 minutes to take control at the break at 26-14. An early second half score for the Bulls got hem right back into the match. With 15 minutes to play, the Bulls were in again to hit the front at 28-26. A penalty saw the Lions reclaim the lead and they followed that up with a try soon after to make it an eight point ball game. The Bulls crossed for a late try to set up a tense finish, but it would prove too little too late as the Lions held on for the victory.
